Commercial Operations Coordinator Manager Mariana works in her element...

when leaving her comfort zone.

“In 2019, when I was still living in Brazil, I was headhunted to work at Oleon. The company was expanding its business in Latin America and starting its first sales office in Brazil. At the time, it was just me and the Affiliate Manager.

It was a challenge to start something from scratch. Despite my initial concerns about  leaving my previous job, I embraced the opportunity. We started with just a meeting room and eventually expanded. I handled various tasks and learned a lot.

At the beginning of 2024, HR suggested I move to Belgium to become a COC Manager. My family and I decided to take the leap.”

when working across different areas.

“My role is incredibly diverse. I work on projects, engage with different departments, and tackle challenges related to teamwork and communication. Being involved in various areas keeps things interesting and allows me to learn from different perspectives. Whether it’s at corporate level or in a local affiliate, every experience adds to my knowledge.”

when making work less stressful for her colleagues.

“My responsibility is to make daily activities more productive and less stressful for my colleagues. I love doing these projects. Currently, I’m part of a big IT project, and I am very motivated to make it work. When you see a colleague struggling, helping them leads to a more efficient and productive day for everyone. Ultimately, we’re all working towards the same goal.”
