About this job
As the corporate planner for
the Oleon oleochemical plants (Ertvelde, Emmerich & Venette), you
coordinate the integrated supply planning process on a mid and long-term basis,
including third-party logistics services.
Your main responsibilities are:
- You are responsible for supply network balancing between manufacturing plants.
- To meet the market demand in the long run, you determine the optimal allocation of finished products to the Oleon manufacturing plants and Oleon’s third parties.
- Based on this long-term planning, you compose the most economical raw material mix to secure business profitability. You communicate proactively to ensure that the required raw materials are purchased in time.
- Maximizing the efficient use of production facilities, managing logistic costs and stock position, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- You analyze planning related KPI’s, perform data analyses and report towards the management team.
- You organize monthly supply reviews with the main stakeholders of the various plants (supply chain, purchasing, controlling, production/process management).
- You participate in motivating, coaching & training local planners by sharing your knowledge and know-how.
- You keep your know-how and expertise up-to-date and keep abreast of evolutions in your domain of expertise.
- You are part of the Oleon corporate supply chain team and report to the corporate supply manager.

- You understand supply chain planning in a multi-site, multi-company environment.
- You work confidently with planning tools and IT systems and show interest in advanced planning solutions.
- You are fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages are an asset.
- You are willing to travel occasionally (±10%) to other Oleon sites.
- You build strong relationships and engage stakeholders in a constructive and effective way.
- You collaborate smoothly across teams and step into a leading role when projects require it.
- You take full responsibility, set clear priorities and act with a strong sense of accountability.
- You show drive, initiative and the ambition to grow into a key role within the organization.
