About this job
You will be responsible for shaping and implementing HR initiatives at Oleon that reflect the Avril Group’s priorities, tools, and processes — ensuring they deliver measurable value locally. You will guide a small team, define priorities through measurable KPIs, and make sure our talent activities deliver tangible results.
You guide the talent management cycle, including the design and coordination of recruitment processes, talent reviews, identification of development needs, strategic workforce planning, and ongoing process optimization.
With a focus on digitalization, you will improve the employee experience by optimizing HR systems and using data-driven insights to strengthen performance, learning, and development.
You will manage the talent acquisition & development budget, monitor Talent & Learning KPIs across regions, support audits and funding processes, and contribute to global certification efforts, such as Ecovadis.
In addition, you will lead and contribute to strategic HR projects, including post-acquisition integration, Great Place to Work certification, and the introduction of AI in HR. By staying on top of new trends and practices in Talent and HR, you will help ensure our strategies remain innovative and forward-looking.
You will lead and coach a team of two HR professionals based in Belgium and report directly to the Corporate HR Director and collaborate closely with business leaders across the organization.
Who are we looking for?
You'll succeed if:
- You hold a master’s degree and bring proven experience across one or ideally several areas of talent within a global matrix organization, gained either through a talent management or strategic HR Business Partner role.
- With a pragmatic and results-driven mindset, you effectively navigate in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, coordinating and following up on projects from A to Z with a strong sense of ownership.
- You are skilled at turning complex data into clear, meaningful presentations and effectively communicating talent insights and strategies across all levels of the organization, including senior and executive leadership.
- As a true team player, you bring the drive and presence to engage, motivate, and guide others, promoting collaboration through strong communication skills.
- Based in Ertvelde, you are open to travel (10%) to international offices to support talent initiatives globally.
- You are fluent in English and Dutch or French, enabling you to work effectively in diverse, multilingual settings.
Next to your skills, it is your drive and motivation that will make all the difference!
